Product introduction

| Taiwan Railways | TR-PASS 3-Day Pass

A multi-day train pass launched by the Taiwan Railways Administration (TRA), allowing passengers to take unlimited rides on TRA trains (including reserved and non-reserved seating) within the valid period, with no restrictions on routes or number of rides.

1.Please redeem the “Taiwan Railways | TR-PASS 3-Day Pass” at one of the 66 designated TRA stations within 365 days of your online purchase.

2. When redeeming the pass with a QR code at a designated station, you must immediately select an “activation date.” The activation date must be within 30 days from the redemption date (including the date of redemption). The pass is valid for three consecutive days starting from the selected activation date and cannot be used on non-consecutive days. Once the activation date is set, it cannot be changed. Example: If you redeem the pass on July 1st, you may choose any date between July 1st and July 30th as your activation date. The pass must then be used over three consecutive days starting from that date. If not used within the validity period, the pass becomes invalid.

3. If a passenger does not reserve a seat at the counter in advance during the validity period, it will be considered as a non-reserved (standing or free seating) ride. However, the following trains require a reserved seat in order to board: Puyuma, Taroko, Tze-Chiang (EMU3000), and Group trains. The following trains cannot be boarded or reserved using this pass under any circumstances: Tourist trains, Cruise-style trains, Real-name registration trains, Special chartered trains, Other trains designated by Taiwan Railways, Business Class and Premium cabins (e.g., Tze-Chiang EMU3000 Business Class). Passengers who violate these rules will be treated as riding without a valid ticket, according to TRA regulations.
